Romania recently hosted a competition akin to these shows, attracting around 80 private companies pitching their pioneering concepts. Notably, a Cypriot firm named Ask Wire presented a groundbreaking database predicting developmental area risks, winning the top prize.

Such events spotlighting innovation and fostering international connections are notably absent in Cyprus. While local awards recognize established firms, they overlook startups and innovative ventures. Embracing such initiatives could propel Cyprus towards becoming a financial hub."
